Rajgarh Palace :
Rajgarh Palace which is just 50 years old is located on the foothills of Maniyagarh hills is only 25 km from Khajuraho.


Ajaygarh Fort:
Ajaygarh Fort located at a height of 688 m is 80 km from Khajuraho. Till the reign of the Chandellas ended this fort remained the capital of Chandellas during the dark times.


Kalinjar Fort:
Kalinjar fort is as old as the Gupta period and is 100 km from Khajuraho. The fort located on the Vindhya ranges has won over the Chandella ruler Shri Yashovarman in the 10th century.

Dhubela Museum:
Dhubela museum located in an old fort is on the way to Jhansi and is 57 km from Khajuraho,. The museum has an exceptional gathering of Bundelkhandi work of arts and countless of sculptures of Shakti cult. In addition to this, it also has several sections on clothes, weapon store and paintings etc.


Panna National Park:
Panna National Park one of the popular and marvelous park is a 30-minute drive from Khajuraho to the. The main attraction of the park is its rich wildlife and the things to see are Leopards, Crocodiles, Wolves, Wild Boars, Cheetals, Sloth Bears, Chowsinghas, Indian Foxes and Porcupines. The sanctuary has wonderful Flora with dense teak forests and the panoramic landscape and also has deep gorges and lush green serene valleys. Because of hot summers, this national park remains closed from June to October.


Ken Gharial Sanctuary:
Ken Gharial sanctuary is located at a distance of 24 km from Khajuraho. If you have interest in crocodiles then this is the best place to see the crocodiles with long-snouts living in their natural home. You will have a terrible glance of the sharp teeth which are apparently ready to swallow you at once. It is advisable to keep a distance from these crocodiles and also do not communicate to the behavioral personality of these crocodiles with normally peaceful nature.


Waterfalls near Khajuraho :
Raneh and Pandav Falls form a perfect leisure and picnic spot to watch gushing waterfalls from Khajuraho.

Pandava Waterfalls :
Pandava waterfall on the Ken River is located at a distance of 30 km from Khajuraho, Pandava waterfalls are so called because it is place where Pandavas spent most of their time when they are in exile.

Raneh Falls :
Raneh Falls is located at a distance of 20 km from Khajurao. Raneh Falls are famous for the lovely rock formations on the River Ken. In addition to this multicolored pure crystalline granite canyon, which is 5 km long and about 100 ft deep, in varying shades of pink, red and gray, there are a number of seasonal waterfalls in the nearby wooded area which makes the place a perfect place for picnic spot.


Orchha:
Orchha is famous for its huge palace fort on a seasonal island of River Betwa. Surrounded by a battlement wall, this fort complex is famous for Raja Mahal, Jahangir Mahal and its Chhatris or Cenotaphs.


Agra :
Agra is known as the city of Taj Mahal , because Agra is popular all over the world because of the Taj Mahal only. It is a state on the northern state of Uttar Pradesh of India and is located on the banks of River Yamuna. Agra is situated at a distance of 312 km and Agra is one of the most popular excursions to Khajuraho.


Varanasi :
One of the oldest cities Varanasi is the one of the grand excursions from Khajuraho.
